Social Work

You’re coming to me because you’re overwhelmed, stretched thin, sad, stressed, irritated, or simply tired of carrying so much on your own. Maybe life feels heavy or flat, like you’re doing everything for everyone and no one really sees you. You’ve held it together for a long time, and now the seams are starting to show.

I bring over 20 years of experience supporting people through big emotions, complex transitions, and the uncomfortable truths we often avoid. I don’t judge and I don’t rush. I listen deeply, help you slow down enough to hear yourself, and sit with you in the realness of what you’re going through — without making you feel like you need to perform or minimize.

My approach is trauma-informed, relational, and grounded in attachment, narrative therapy, parts work, and integrative practices. I work with adults who are navigating burnout, anxiety, grief, identity shifts, relationship patterns, and the emotional weight of being “the strong one.”

I also offer preparation and integration support for clients engaging in legally sanctioned programs, clinical trials, or non-ordinary states of consciousness work. I am trained through the Therapsil Psilocybin Therapy Program, and I incorporate that knowledge into supportive psychotherapy within my regulated scope and in alignment with BCCSW practice guidelines.

If you’re looking for a calm, grounded place to untangle what’s happening inside you — without judgment, pressure, or pretense — I’m here. Together, we can make sense of what feels heavy and help you come back into alignment with yourself.

You’re coming to me because you’re overwhelmed, stretched thin, sad, stressed, irritated, or simp... Read More

Janet’s interest in massage therapy started in 2004, the same time that she was just starting her career as a Registered Pharmacist in British Columbia.
